slt Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 hi all just got in from work and the wife said air con not working on galaxy went out and had a look , took it for aspin round the block no cold air or hot air dose it need a regas or some thing else ? done a search on forum but cant find any info with the same problem Quote
Stevoo Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 Do you mean no air blows at all? When you switch aircon on, you should here a "click" noise which engages the Pump. Within 20 seconds you should feel cool air, as long as you have set temp to "low"if no cold air at all, then you may need a re-gas. Check if aircon fan is spinning on the rad. Quote
slt Posted December 12, 2007 Author Report Posted December 12, 2007 There is air blowing but it is the same temperature whether on hot or cold. Quote
raymac Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 is it running at full temp, a spin round the block will not suffice !! is the aux heater kicking in ? with the current temps being as low as they are it should be, also when the temp drops below 5.5c the aircon /climate automatically switches itself off to avoid freezinfg up but that will not stop hot air coming through as it will switch to econ mode, hope this helps and it's nothing to serious <_< Quote
